The SynapseCommand® Story
Why the name, why the mark, why the discipline.

Every command post has the same bottleneck, and it isn't data. Modern forces drown in ISR feeds, OSINT streams and sensor telemetry. What they lack is the moment where all of it turns into a decision.
In neuroscience there's a word for exactly that point. A synapse is the gap where signals from a thousand neurons converge and either fire or fall silent. Not the wiring. Not the noise. The junction where information becomes action.
That's the name. SynapseCommand is the junction where machine intelligence meets human command and a decision fires. Two words, one system. Synapse is light and distributed, Command is heavy and final. The wordmark says this out loud: SYNAPSE set thin, COMMAND set bold. Intelligence serves. Command decides.
The Mark: A Command Rose
For centuries, commanders have oriented themselves by the compass rose, the oldest decision instrument in warfare. The SynapseCommand mark is that rose, rebuilt for a new kind of staff.
Eight arms reach outward. They represent the specialised staff functions around the commander, not a headcount; the agent suite grows as capability grows. Each arm scans its own domain. Four are drawn solid, four in steel, because not all intelligence carries equal weight at any given moment, and the mark is honest about it.
Each arm ends at a node on the corner of an octagon, the perimeter where the agents stand watch.
But look closer and the octagon is broken at every corner. Those cuts are not decoration. They are the air gap, drawn straight into the geometry. The system's promise, that your data never leaves your control, is visible in its own symbol. A perimeter that touches nothing.
The Command Rose: eight arms, one centre, one decision axis
Single Diamond: The Commander
At the centre sits a single diamond: the commander. The staff functions converge, one human decides. The mark carries the doctrine of the product in its bones. Machines advise, a person commands. There is exactly one decision point, and it is not artificial.
And at true north, one element breaks the greyscale: a small diamond in Signal orange, the decision axis. In a field of gunmetal and steel it is the only warmth and the only urgency. Our identity manual forbids that colour anywhere else. In a command post, the moment of decision should be the only thing that burns.
The Discipline: No Curves, No Glow
The identity was built on a refusal.
The AI industry sells itself in glowing gradients and swirling neural nets, imagery that promises magic. The SynapseCommand manual bans all of it. No curves, no gradients, no glows, no gadgets. Every angle a multiple of 45 degrees. Every corner mitred. Geometry fixed to the unit.
This is the look of the world the product actually lives in: stencilled crates, engraved panels, radar phosphor, unit patches sewn at 45 millimetres minimum. A brand meant to be stamped, engraved and embroidered, not just rendered on a pitch deck. Magic is the last thing a commander wants from a decision system. What they want is what the mark shows them: fixed geometry, known tolerances, one accent, one decision point.
The palette tells the same story. Gunmetal for the night, Steel for the machine, Bone for the map, Signal for the moment. The type too: Sora for what humans read, IBM Plex Mono for what machines report.
The Short Version
Specialised staff functions on the perimeter. One commander at the centre. A gap between the system and the world. And a single point of orange at true north, because everything exists for the moment when someone has to decide.
That's the brand. Not a picture of the product, but a diagram of its ethics.
